Installation, ventilation, fuel supply, and safety
The TITAN SL1 must be installed and operated exactly as directed in the current manufacturer manual. Maintain every required clearance and permanent ventilation opening. Natural ventilation is required; mechanical ventilation is not recommended because it may interfere with combustion air and heater performance.
The lower intake must provide at least 54 square inches of free area. The upper exhaust must provide at least 39 square inches of free area and discharge directly outdoors, never into another room or enclosed part of a building. Screens, louvers, and grilles can reduce free area and may require larger openings.
The propane cylinder, regulator assembly, gas connections, and accessible manual shutoff must remain outside the sauna room or tent. Keep the cylinder upright, secured, and in a well-ventilated location. Inspect the hose, regulator, fittings, and connections before every use and after reconnecting a cylinder.
For indoor installation, the heater may be used only in a properly constructed sauna room that satisfies every requirement in the manual. Do not install or operate it in living areas or indoor spaces not intended for sauna use.
Carbon monoxide, fire, explosion, and burn hazards: Never operate the heater unattended. Never sleep in the sauna while the heater is operating. The oxygen depletion sensor, tip switch, timer, heater guard, and gloves are supplemental safety features and do not replace correct installation, continuous ventilation, required clearances, inspection, supervision, or maintenance.
Codes, permits, and approval requirements vary by jurisdiction. Installation must be performed by a person familiar with fuel-burning appliances and gas safety practices. Five-year limited residential warranty
SaunaLife lists electric and gas sauna heaters with a five-year limited warranty from the date of delivery for normal residential use by the original retail purchaser. Commercial use, alteration, misuse, abuse, unauthorized repair, and use outside the product's intended application may void coverage.
Labor and related expenses for removal, installation, replacement, disassembly, or reinstallation are not covered.
